The Development Economics Workshop

The Development Economics Workshop brings together academics, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and students to engage with contemporary issues in economic development. The workshop provides a platform for presenting new research, exchanging ideas, and fostering discussion on the economic, social, institutional, and policy challenges shaping development across the world.

Through keynote sessions, research presentations, panel discussions, and informal networking, the workshop encourages collaboration across disciplines and institutions. It aims to connect rigorous academic research with real-world development challenges, generate new perspectives, strengthen research networks, and contribute to more informed and effective approaches to development policy and practice.

Durham Policy Dialogue Series

The Durham Policy Dialogue Series brings together scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and community leaders to discuss pressing social, economic, and governance challenges. The series creates a space for evidence-based debate, practical insight, and collaborative thinking, connecting academic research with real-world policy needs. Through open dialogue, it aims to generate fresh perspectives, strengthen partnerships, and support more informed and inclusive decision-making.
